Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Cincinnati, OH)

Silverline Beacon Financial serves customers across Cincinnati with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 189 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Turn requests about vendor spend into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with vendor spend. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
