Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Summit Lakeside Health Partners and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with referrals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
