Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Boise, ID)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Quill Health and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Boise. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about patient scheduling into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
