Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Boise, ID)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Junction Community Partners and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about volunteer shifts into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
