Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Austin, TX)

Bluepeak Corner Medical Associates builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Austin. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would join a large organisation of about 854 people based in Austin. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about complaint handling into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with complaint handling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
