Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Albuquerque, NM)

Redstone Amber Medical Partners is a Albuquerque company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on internal tools. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Turn requests about device records into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
