Senior Software Engineer - integrations (Tucson, AZ)

Cedar Junction Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Tucson, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our integrations. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about customer complaints into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
