Senior Software Engineer - integrations (San Jose, CA)

Foxglove Timber Community Partners runs community programmes across San Jose. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about benefits enrolment into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
