Senior Software Engineer - integrations (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Cedar Forge Inspection Services and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would join a large organisation of about 469 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Turn requests about client sites into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
