Senior Software Engineer - integrations (Reno, NV)

Stonegate Quill Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Reno region, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would join a large organisation of about 711 people based in Reno. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about outage response into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
