Senior Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Lumen Granite Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Jackson. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on integrations. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Turn requests about school calendars into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
