Senior Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Bright Pine Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Baltimore and nearby communities, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about pipe repairs into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
