Senior Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Greenridge Oak Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Richmond, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about client sites into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
