Senior Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

We are growing our team at Silverline Mill Transit Planning Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about service alerts into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
