Senior Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Rivermark Ember Financial is a financial-services company in Jackson. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about vendor spend into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with vendor spend. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
