Senior Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Lumen Fern Care Services Group is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Virginia Beach, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our integrations. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Turn requests about caregiver training into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with caregiver training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
