Senior Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Meadow Learning Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about student accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with student accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
