Senior Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield West Transit Planning Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about survey data into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
