Senior Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Cedar Birch Facilities is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for safety inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 55 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about safety inspections into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with safety inspections. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
