Senior Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Oak Energy and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about meter readings into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
