Senior Software Engineer - integrations (Providence, RI)

Clearpath Lakeside Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Providence design routes and schedules, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about survey data into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
