Senior Software Engineer - integrations (Philadelphia, PA)

Nova Union Inspection Services Group tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Philadelphia. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about field inspections into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
