Senior Software Engineer - integrations (Milwaukee, WI)

Nova Pine Community Partners is a nonprofit in Milwaukee supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about donor records into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with donor records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
