Senior Software Engineer - integrations (Kansas City, MO)

Lumen Lantern Learning Group is an education provider in Kansas City serving students and families. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about student accounts into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with student accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
