Senior Software Engineer - integrations (Hartford, CT)

Amberfield Lantern Early Learning is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for meal programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 185 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Turn requests about meal programmes into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with meal programmes. • Cloud deployment experience.
