Senior Software Engineer - integrations (Fresno, CA)

Bright Pike Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Fresno area, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about school calendars into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
