Senior Software Engineer - integrations (Cleveland, OH)

Amberfield Wren Transit Planning is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about service alerts into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cleveland. • We reply to every applicant.
