Senior Software Engineer - integrations (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Orchard Telecom and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about network equipment into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with network equipment. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
