Senior Software Engineer - integrations (Boise, ID)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Junction Water Authority and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about meter reading into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
