Senior Software Engineer - integrations (Boise, ID)

Redstone Nest Community Partners is a Boise charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on integrations. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about benefits enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
