Senior Sales Representative - territory development (Grand Rapids, MI)

Nova Lakeside Arts Center is an arts centre in Grand Rapids with a full calendar of events, and we need a Senior Sales Representative to lead our territory development. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around event logistics clearly and honestly. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • Experience selling event logistics. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
