Senior Sales Representative - renewals and upsell (Rochester, NY)

Fernwood Meadow Insurance is looking for a Senior Sales Representative. The job centres on renewals and upsell for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Explain our services around underwriting files clearly and honestly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
