Senior Sales Representative - renewals and upsell (remote)

Northwind Fern Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Knoxville. We are hiring a Senior Sales Representative to take on renewals and upsell. We reward reliability. What you will do • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Explain our services around dock schedules clearly and honestly. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
