Senior Sales Representative - local business accounts (Rochester, NY)

Summit Meridian Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Sales Representative to take on local business accounts. We reward reliability. What you will do • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Explain our services around carrier rates clearly and honestly. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • Experience selling carrier rates. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
