Senior Sales Representative - local business accounts (remote)

Fernwood Ember Markets is a Oakland retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Senior Sales Representative to take on local business accounts. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around supplier deliveries clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
