Senior Sales Representative - local business accounts (remote)

Fernwood Orchard Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Sales Representative to lead our local business accounts. You would join a small organisation of about 130 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Explain our services around billing disputes clearly and honestly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • Experience selling billing disputes. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
