Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Lumen Lantern Early Learning and adding a Senior Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would join a large organisation of about 762 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on classroom supplies with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with classroom supplies. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
