Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Iron Insurance is an insurance company in San Antonio with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Senior Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support work on catastrophe response with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
