Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Rochester, NY)

Ironwood Oak Health is looking for a Senior Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for referrals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on referrals with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with referrals. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
