Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Rochester, NY)

Summit Mill Care Services provides in-home and community support in Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on care plans with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with care plans. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
