Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Rochester, NY)

Ironwood Thistle Medical Group is looking for a Senior Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for complaint handling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Support work on complaint handling with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with complaint handling. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
