Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Rochester, NY)

Fernwood Vale Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Rochester producing generic and specialty treatments. We are hiring a Senior Registered Nurse to take on patient education. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on cleanroom operations with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with cleanroom operations. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
