Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Richmond, VA)

Stonegate Forge Care Services supports families and individuals in Richmond with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Senior Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on visit scheduling with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with visit scheduling. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
