Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (remote)

Fernwood Stone Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Austin working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Senior Registered Nurse to take on patient education. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on fare systems with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
