Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (remote)

Northwind West Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Reno, and we need a Senior Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 166 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on ridership counts with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
