Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Raleigh, NC)

Fernwood Ridge Learning Group is an education provider in Raleigh serving students and families. We are hiring a Senior Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on student accounts with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with student accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
