Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Bright Sparrow Care Services and adding a Senior Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Portland. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on visit scheduling with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with visit scheduling. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
