Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Philadelphia, PA)

Cedar Meadow Medical designs and makes medical devices in Philadelphia, and we need a Senior Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on clinical evaluations with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with clinical evaluations. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
