Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Philadelphia, PA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Juniper Care Services and adding a Senior Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 58 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on caregiver training with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with caregiver training. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
