Senior Registered Nurse - patient education (Philadelphia, PA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Fern Transit Planning and adding a Senior Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would join a large organisation of about 780 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on service alerts with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
